Administration Announces Investment in School Infrastructure

The education department announces funding for two programs.

The president’s administration announced an investment of more than $47 million through the U.S. Department of Education (Department) in two programs: Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) and the National Center on School Infrastructure (NCSI). Distributed over a five-year period, this funding is intended to enhance states’ ability to support school districts’ improvement of facilities and the development of increased equitable access.

“These new investments in modern, healthy, and sustainable school infrastructure reflect the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to both promoting student success and protecting our planet for generations to come,” said Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. “Research has shown that modern, well-maintained facilities and healthy learning environments can help schools Raise the Bar by increasing student achievement.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Cardona to be led by God as he oversees the Education Department.
  • For department officials as they collaborate on the programs to support the investments in school infrastructure.
